Trailblazers trailquest league round 4
Ballintempo and Belmore forests Co. Fermanagh
There will be Mud!
This round will tackle the endless fire roads of west Fermanagh’s upland forest. Expect stiff climbs, bone rattling descents and the full range of mountain biking hazards. Knobbly tires and spare tubes recommended. Those willing to push on will be rewarded with spectacular views….as long as Fermanagh’s infamous horizontal rain stays away.
How to get there
Take A4 from Enniskillen to Belcoo ( 12 miles aprox.) Turn right immediately after Acheson and Glover quarry signed from this point on ‘Boho’. 1 mile further and turn right, again signed Boho. This road winds uphill and eventually a left turn signed ‘Aghnaglack’ court tomb can be followed to registration and start. 54.3358N 7.8581W for satnavs. see Google maps
