Trailblazers spring trailquest league – Round 3
An Creagan visitor centre, CoTyrone, 17th May 2009.
The event centre and Registration will be at the An Creagan visitor centre which is located off the A505 midway between Cookstown and Omagh. 54.6539N 7.0344W for your satnavs.
Format 4 hour or 2 hour trailquest score event.
A standard 1:50000 OS map will be used and will be pre-printed with 24 possible control points of various points value.
Registration will be from 1030, Starts from 1100 please help the organisers by sending your team name, team members names and team class to: blazersentries@aol.com before the event.
Event prices £8 seniors £4 youths (under 16) – £2 discount for full TCA members. (event prices include associate TCA membership for insurance purposes) please join the TCA online beforehand to save time on the day.
Teams may be made up of 1 to 4 riders
Classes will be available for open, female, mixed, vets (45+ average age) and youth (at least 1 member under 16)
Maps will be pre-printed and laminated 1:50000 OS.
Sport Ident electronic timing will be used, results and split times will be available on the day and reports and results will be available on the trailblazers website after the event.
Goodie bags have been rplaced with tea and scones for this event, The An Creagan visitor centre has an excellent restaurant for those wanting something a bit more substantial.

Please note:
Although the majority of roads and tracks used for this event are quiet back roads please be aware – There are two busy roads competitors may need to cross. The A505 Omagh to Cookstown rd and the B46 Creggan rd.
Please take care at intersections on these roads.
